Gender Equality, Equal Opportunities and Diversity

The Department of Service Management and Service Studies works actively with gender equality, equal opportunities and diversity, as these issues are important for maintaining and increasing the quality of research and education at our department, and fundamental to modern research and education in general.

Our department has established a working group that helps us to identify ways of promoting equal rights and opportunities for our students and employees. The working group also has the assignment to develop, monitor and implement our department’s action plan for gender equality, equal opportunities and diversity.

The action plan aims to combat discrimination based on gender, transgender identity or expression, ethnic origin, age, religion or other belief, sexual orientation, and disability, in work and study environments for students, and when it comes to the terms of employment for our staff.
