Specialisation: Supply Chain Management

Design innovative supply chains for the future
All organisations and businesses depend on the quality of their customer service. Supply Chain Management is about achieving maximum efficiency through good service and low costs, making it possible to satisfy different parties in a supply chain. The specialisation in Supply Chain Management is for students who want to focus on designing future innovative supply chains. During your studies you will develop your academic and industrial expertise in the field of Supply Chain Management.

The programme is provided in close collaboration with trade and industry in the dynamic Öresund region. Through study visits and visiting lecturers you will acquire current knowledge of the supply chains of today and the visions of tomorrow. This will help you develop important analytical tools to create innovative, sustainable and global supply chains.

Innovative supply chain leaders of tomorrow

On completion of the programme, students shall be able to independently and strategically develop and lead future service operations in supply chain management. Future career opportunities could include managing a project, a supply chain or logistics department. Students can also find employment as consultants in either the private or public sector. You will also be qualified to carry out research projects across a broad spectrum of supply chain and logistics companies and organisations.

N.B. The specialisation Supply Chain was formerly called Logistics, but since the designation Supply Chain is more in line with the content of this programme, the name was changed before the start of the autumn semester of 2016.
