Student portal and account

Welcome to a new semester, and welcome to the Department of Service Management and Service Studies. The following information should assist you in getting started with your studies this autumn.

Corona virus/Covid-19

Lund University is following the Swedish Government's and Public Health Authority’s recommendations regarding measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19). In order to ensure a safe study and working environment for students and employees, the University is making decisions on a continuous basis, based on current recommendations from the responsible authorities.
The decision entails that teaching and assessment of students’ performance may be conducted on the University’s premises as of 15 June 2020.
During the autumn semester we will, at the Department of Service Management and Service Studies, offer both online teaching as well as Campus based teaching. In such activities the Swedish Public Health Agency’s rules, general guidelines and recommendations to reduce the spread of Covid-19 are to be observed. Priority is to be given to teaching and assessment that is impossible, or possible only with great difficulty, to conduct remotely. No gatherings are to be of more than 50 people.

Student account

Your student account consists of your user ID, your password and your student email address. There are different ways of activating your student account. If you applied on the website universityadmissions.se / antagning.se, you will receive a "welcome email" to the address you stated in your application. Follow the instructions to activate your account. If you have studied at Lund University before and already have an active account, you will keep that.

Learn more about your student account

Student portal Canvas

All courses have their own course site in the student portal called Canvas. There you can find information about the course, schedule (lesson plan), instructions and other useful things. Please note that the schedule will still be preliminary at the start of the semester. You will receive more information on how to log in to Canvas, at the latest when the semester starts.
