My research and teaching areas comprise management in organisations, in particular in the cultural and creative sector. I am also interested in entrepreneurship and innovation as well as governance within this sector. One of the primary questions of my research over the past years has been how policy affects organizing and enterprising in the cultural and creative field. I studied Art History and other subjects within the Humanities before embarking on studies and a subsequent PhD in Business Administration, all at Stockholm University. I joined Lund University in 2010.
2019-2021 I am studying policy initiatives related to cultural and creative industries, in particular at sub-national level in Sweden as a Flexit researcher (funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond) at the culture department at Region Skåne and at the Department of Service Management and Service Studies. I am involved with the Culture and Creativity Management specialization of our Master’s programme in Service Management that was launched in 2019.
